What does IM Export Services do?

Based in Redditch, Worcestershire, we provide export packing, on-site packing and ISPM 15 certified timber packaging, helping businesses transport cargo safely by road, sea and air.

Do you work across the UK?

Yes. We provide export packing services nationwide. Our team regularly travels to customer sites throughout the UK to carry out on-site packing, surveys and container loading.

Do you carry out site surveys?

Yes. We can visit your site to assess your equipment, take measurements and discuss your project requirements. This helps us design the most suitable export packaging for your shipment.

Export packing

What is export packing?

What can you export pack?

Almost any type of equipment, machinery, CNC machinery, metalwork, manufacturing equipment, vehicles, electrical equipment, aerospace components, defence equipment, fragile items and oversized industrial items.

Can equipment be packed at your facility?

Yes. Most of our customers choose to deliver their equipment to our Redditch facility where it can be packed, stored and prepared for shipment.

Do you offer on-site export packing?

Yes. Our packing teams can travel to your premises anywhere in the UK to pack equipment that cannot easily be moved.

Can you make heavy-duty export cases?

Yes. We regularly make cases that weigh several tonnes and measure over 15 meters in length.

Can you manufacture bespoke timber cases for awkward or oversized equipment?

Yes. Every timber case is made to the exact dimensions, weight and transportation requirements of your equipment. We regularly manufacture cases for oversized, heavy and unusually shaped items.

Do you provide aerospace and defence packaging?

Yes. We have the experience and certifications to manufacture MoD packaging for defence projects and sensitive equipment.

Are you MPAS certified?

Yes. The Military Packager Approval Scheme (MPAS) recognises organisations that meet the standards required for manufacturing packaging for defence applications. Our accreditation allows us to produce packaging that meets strict military requirements.

Do you provide container loading?

Yes. Our team can load shipping containers safely and securely for transport.

Can you arrange freight?

Yes. Our sister company, IM Freight Forwarding, arranges transport by road, sea or air.

Do you offer secure storage?

Yes. We provide secure indoor storage for packed and unpacked equipment.

Timber cases, crates & pallets

Are all your timber cases, crates and pallets ISPM15-certified?

Yes. All our timber is ISPM15 heat-treated and stamped accordingly.

What is ISPM15?

ISPM15 is an international standard that requires timber packaging used for export to be heat-treated to prevent the spread of pests between countries. Most countries require imported timber packaging to comply with this standard.

Are your timber cases suitable for international shipping?

Yes. All our timber cases, crates and pallets are all heat-treated and comply with ISPM15 regulations, making it suitable for international export.

Can you manufacture bespoke timber cases for awkward or oversized equipment?

Yes. Every timber case is made to the exact dimensions, weight and transportation requirements of your equipment. We regularly manufacture cases for oversized, heavy and unusually shaped items.

Can your timber cases be reused?

Many of our timber cases are designed for reuse, making them a cost-effective and environmentally friendly solution for customers with regular shipments.
